Crochet Afghan

I love to crochet.  My grandmother loved to crochet --she passed away when I was young though.(
I have this beautiful yarn I was saving (because I always want to save the beautiful yarn)  It is called BOKU, its wool and made in beautiful colors.  I crocheted this afghan I wanted it larger but I ran out of yarn!

Well It doesnt look like I smoothed it out well to take the picture so use your imagination, Its smoothly laid out and looking lovely... (Goodness, I sound a little grouchy, might be the sinus issue this am...)
OH ME!!  Off to craft, be back later today with something made of paper.

  2. This is beautiful! Is it different colors of yarns or one yarn with different colors in it? The colors are lovely!

  4. My aunt semi-taught me to crochet many (over 40!) years ago doing one of these afghans using a horrible nylon yarn (I use the term 'yarn' loosely!). All she taught me was to single and double crochet and the rest was up to me. After I bored myself silly making it, it's a wonder I still love to crochet!

  5. I never see this granny stitch without thinking of my grandma. She made me a crochet vest out of great colors when I was in 7th grade. When I got to big for it I cried.

    LOVE IT!
