I have simple questions????? Do you have answers???

When and Where do you pray?
Since I am asking you I will tell you where I do, Mornings around 9 ish, sitting on my made bed under the ceiling fan. I want a different time, a difference place so please comment or email. Where are you when you pray and read the bible??
2nd Question, how do you keep your house smelling wonderful. I know how to make it smell clean; I want to know how to make it smell like flowers all the time. I have tried scentsy warmer and bricks, yankee candles and tarts, many scented candles and liquid popourri. Please tell me your favorites brands and scents.
Philippians 4:6-7 (New International Version)
6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Hope to post a crafty something soon...
Living in God's Graces,

  1. I pray at bedtime, snuggled in on my soft pillow with the fan blowing! Many nights I pray until I fall asleep:) Have lots to pray about these days! The more friends you make, the more there are who need prayers!

I use Bath and Body works wallflowers! You plug it in and use refills!

    Have a blessed day! HUGS!

  2. I pray in my bed at night. I can't use the air fresheners (the plug in the wall kind) like I would like because they make me chest feel like its gonna get congested so I just keep vacuuming and moping the floor with pinesol. Hope you have a good day!

  4. I read the bibile in my chair where I sew and blog. I pray often through out the day when a concern or praise comes to mind. I have a small pan on my stove that I put orange peels and cinnamon spice and cloves in a little water. Boil this and the whole house smells wonderful.

  5. Kim...I do exactly what you do. I sometimes go into my little office to read and pray and I try to always start my day off doing this one very important thing.

I love plain old Vanilla candles. It's a mix between the scent of baking and the good earth!

Thanks for stopping by yesterday...glad you love my sweet cards~

  6. Kim~

Where do I pray... I am not a traditional prayer would be that start to my answer. I pray several times a day and when I pray it probably sounds like I am talking to an invisible friend. . This may be in the car, at my craft table, cooking dinner or walking on my treadmill. I actually used to think that I needed to learn how to pray. Now I think that I just need to talk to him more often.

  7. Kim~ I almost forgot the second question, How do I make my house smell good. I have always been big on scents. I too have tried everything except the sensy warmers, but I did pick up a packet to host a party just last weekend.

I get compliments all the time and always have. For as long as I can remember I always use a vanilla scented carpet fresh, vanilla scented glade candles in my living room and my craft room. I have 2 glade plug in warmers. 1 in my bedroom and 1 in the bathroom. Both usually have the island or tahitian sent. I keep stick ups in vanilla or powder scent stuck by my bathroom trash and dirty clothes sorter in laundry room. I have a free standing scent thing in my hallway/dining room that goes off every so many minutes, and last but not least is that I use Febreeze on everything possible when I clean. Sounds like a lot cause it is... but for me it is worth every penny! A great product that only takes 1 to 2 squirts and lasts a long time is the room spray made by bed and bath in the mall. Lasts a long time! My fav scents are sweep pea, cucumber melon and lime verbana.

Hope my info helps out a little. Take Care!

  8. I usually pray 7ish in the morning at my kitchen table with Bible in hand and at this time Beth Moore's prayer journal "Whispers of Hope." I just try to stay in a continual mode of prayer. In my car, when I hear an ambulance, out walking etc.
As for scenting the home, I bought my first Scentsy warmer over the summer and love it. I got the smaller one. It really scents up a large area. Other than that I like candles at night. I especially love the scents for fall.

  9. Hi Kim, thank you for stopping by my little corner and commenting on my Breakfast with the King.

I pray very much like Sherry above from Scrapping with Sherry. I talk to God throughout the entire day and I hear His voice so clearly in my spirit. Sometimes even over washing the dishes. He reminds me throughout the day to pray for more specific needs or others. I also pray more intensely (intercession) when the Holy Spirit leads. The mornings during breakfast is very special to me. I do pray then too along with reading of devotionals and God's Word. This to me is a very special time (breakfast). It gives me clarity and peace for the day and the journey and trust me I ask my Father a lot of questions which involve the most important part of prayer of all--His voice. Of course, it's not audible but sometimes so strong that you'd think it is.

As far as the fragrant house...I usually use candles. Some of the stronger fragrances seem to give out more aroma--like pumpkin spice and apple cinammon. I love vanilla too. I was going to say that baking is wonderful too when I bake. Cleaning up is good too--laundry, bathrooms, linens. It seems to work better with the other good fragrances vs. against them.

Have a gorgeous first day of Autumn!! Blessings!
